The coupler features a compact design with dimensions of 44mm x 100mm x 67mm, a polycarbonate housing with a high-density terminal module housing and an LED signal indicator for easy condition monitoring. It is fastened to the 35mm DIN rail with a latch, according to EN 60715, for easy installation and clean wiring.
The EK1818 has two RJ45 interfaces, one for connecting the coupler to the network and the other for connecting other EtherCAT devices in the same network segment. The coupler also integrates eight digital input and four digital output channels to meet a variety of control and monitoring needs.
