About 1794-IE8:

Allen-Bradley 1794-IE8 is a component module of the Flex I/O product family.

The module is an analog input module that is used with a Flex I/O communication adapter and terminal dock to implement a distributed I/O architecture.

The module uses the module's eight (8) single-ended, non-isolated, user-configurable channels capable of receiving 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA, +/ -10VDC, and 0 to 10VDC input signals. The module is capable of connecting instruments such as field transmitters, analog indicating instruments, loggers, process loop controllers and other analog instruments that generate a compatible signal range.

This Flex I/O analog input module is configured as a 12-bit sign in unipolar mode and an 11-bit plus sign in bipolar mode.

It uses successive approximate conversions and saves the converted data in an EFT-aligned, 16-bit 2s complement data format.

It has a conversion rate of 256 seconds on all channels with an absolute accuracy of 0.20% at full scale @25°C,

The voltage accuracy drift is -0.00428% full scale /°C and the current input is 0.00407% full scale /°C. This module does not require calibration.

1794-IE8 requires an external supply voltage range of 10.5-31.2VDC and a nominal supply voltage of 24VDC.
