SCHNEIDER 140CRA93200 Input/Output module
The 140CRA93200 is a RIO branch adapter module for the Modicon Quantum automation platform to expand the number of I/O modules and enable communication connectivity. The 140CRA93200 is the remote I/O head dual channel module in the Modecon Quantum series. It is designed to be mounted on the same backplane as the control CPU module. The module transmits data bidirectionally between two modules, which are PCU and RIO drop modules located on different backplanes. To interconnect this RIO head module, a coaxial cable network is used with at least one other RIO lead-in module.
Traits
The Modicon 140CRA93200 requires 750 mA bus current. Typical power consumption is 3 W, and the module supports ma CRPs. The module has 31 branches and can be used with the Quantum 200 series, 500 Series, 800 Series or SY/MAX(any combination). There are 64 in words per drop, 64 out words per drop.
The module has 2 ports/branches, up to 32 ports (16 branches), and requires AS-P892-000 AS-J892-101/102 or AS-J290-0X0 at the RIO branch.
The Modicon 140CRA93200 remote I/O head uses 4 LED indicators. These indicators are ready, communication, error A, and error b.
At the top of the front of the module is the LED area. Below the LED area is the ROP coaxial connector area with connector A and Connector b. On the side is the version label. There is a detachable hinged door at the front.
How to use 140CRA93200
This module is used for the local Quantum I/O station. To insert the 140CRA93200 into the local station, the first step is to call the bus editor and then mark a free slot in the station with the left mouse button. With your mouse pointing to the free slot, right-click the shortcut menu and choose New Device.
