Product Description

The FX5UJ‑60MR/ES is the largest base unit in the FX5UJ line, combining a powerful CPU, 100–240V AC power supply, and 60 digital I/O on a single compact module for cost‑effective machine control. It provides 36 digital inputs rated at 24V DC (sink/source) and 24 relay outputs (normally open contacts, 2A at 250V AC), making it suitable for a mix of sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and solenoid valves without additional relay modules. As an entry‑class member of the iQ‑F family, the FX5UJ inherits many functions from the higher FX5U series, such as built‑in high‑speed counters, pulse outputs, position control, PID, data logging, and communication features, but at a lower total system cost.

The unit uses removable screw terminal blocks for wiring and mounts on DIN rail, simplifying installation and maintenance. It operates from 0–55°C with 5–95%RH non‑condensing humidity and complies with IEC 61131‑2 vibration and shock requirements, ensuring reliable use in industrial control panels. Designed for integration with other iQ‑F modules and networks, it can be expanded with additional I/O and communication options if the application grows, while still benefiting from the user‑friendly GX Works3 programming environment.
