The Mitsubishi MR‑J3‑350A and MR‑J3‑350B are high‑performance 3.5 kW AC servo amplifiers from the MELSERVO‑J3 series, designed for 200–230 VAC 3‑phase use in demanding industrial applications such as CNC machine tools, packaging machines, printing lines and general automation equipment. Both models are 3.5 kW 200 V‑class drives with high‑response control; the MR‑J3 series supports very fast speed loop frequency response (up to around 2.1 kHz on later models, commonly specified around 900 Hz for standard ratings), enabling precise positioning and stable speed control with 18‑bit encoders (262,144 pulses/rev) on compatible Mitsubishi servo motors.

MR‑J3‑350A is the universal pulse interface type, accepting high‑speed pulse train commands from motion controllers or PLCs (step/direction or phase pulse) together with ±10 V analog speed/torque commands, making it easy to retrofit or integrate into conventional pulse‑command systems. Users can select position, speed or torque control modes (P/S/T) and combine them, while advanced auto‑tuning and vibration suppression functions help reduce machine resonance and shorten commissioning time. MR‑J3‑350B is the SSCNET III network type, using high‑speed fiber‑optic communication with communication cycles as short as 0.44 ms, simplifying wiring and enabling synchronized multi‑axis motion over long distances with excellent noise immunity.
