The MR-J2S-200B belongs to the MELSERVO‑J2‑Super family and is designed to drive 2kW Mitsubishi servo motors such as the HC‑KFS, HC‑MFS, HC‑SFS, HC‑LFS, HC‑RFS and HC‑UFS series in positioning, contouring, and general automation applications. It uses sine‑wave PWM current control with a speed frequency response of 550Hz or more, enabling fast, accurate response to command changes and high‑precision speed/torque regulation. The amplifier supports analog voltage/ pulse train commands and high‑speed serial SSCNET network interface for synchronous multi‑axis control, making it suitable for CNC, packaging, and electronics assembly machinery.
Rated for 3‑phase 200–230VAC (or 1‑phase 230VAC) main power at 10.5A, the MR‑J2S‑200B outputs 170V at 0–360Hz and 11A to the motor, corresponding to 2kW rated power. The unit is fan‑cooled, IP00 open type, with operating temperature 0–55°C and standard Mitsubishi protections including overcurrent, overvoltage, overload (electronic thermal), motor overheat, encoder fault, regenerative fault, undervoltage and overspeed protection. Built‑in dynamic braking allows rapid deceleration without an external brake chopper for many applications, and the drive can be used in closed‑loop systems with high‑resolution encoders for precise position control.
