The IFM PI2797 is an electronic pressure sensor designed for hygienic process applications, featuring a dead-space-free flush diaphragm with G1/4″ sealing cone connection (DIN EN ISO 1179-2) and stainless steel housing resistant to aggressive cleaning agents and high-pressure washdown. It measures relative pressure from -50 to 1000 mbar (-5 to 100 kPa / -0.7 to 14.5 psi) with <±0.6% span accuracy, providing dual outputs: OUT1 as switching output and OUT2 configurable as switching or 4-20mA/0-10V analog output.
The rotatable 350° 7-segment LED display shows real-time pressure values (mbar/psi/kPa units) with pushbutton programming for zero/span adjustment, set/reset points, hysteresis, and damping. IO-Link compatibility enables remote diagnostics, parameter setting, and predictive maintenance. With IP67 protection, -25°C to +80°C temperature range, and 170-year MTTF, it’s ideal for pumps, tanks, and piping in food/beverage/pharmaceutical production requiring CIP/SIP cleaning.
