The IFM O1D100 delivers precise long-range distance measurement up to 10m using safe Class 2 laser technology (650nm, 4mW), ideal for automation tasks like object positioning, loop control, and level detection in material handling and packaging lines. Its dual switching outputs—one programmable as scalable analog (4-20mA/250Ω max load or 0-10V/5kΩ min load)—combine with IO-Link 1.1 (COM2) for smart diagnostics, parameter setting, and process data transmission at up to 50Hz sampling.

The robust die-cast zinc housing (59x42x52mm, 243g) features side sensing, 4-digit alphanumeric display with pushbuttons for local setup, and background suppression up to 19m for reliable detection near reflective surfaces. Operating on 18-30V DC with <150mA consumption, it withstands -10°C to +60°C, IP67 washdown, and extraneous light up to 100klx, backed by 50,000-hour laser lifetime and MTTF of 182 years.
