Each of the 16 channels delivers 0.5 A continuous at 12-32 VDC, organized into two electrically isolated groups (8 channels + voltage supervision input per group) for enhanced noise immunity and fault tolerance.

Each output channel features a high-side driver with short-circuit protection, over-voltage/over-temperature safeguards, inductive load suppression, EMC filtering, and bicolor LED status indication. Process voltage supervision detects power loss and reports via ModuleBus to the I/O controller. The module requires TU810/TU812/TU814/TU830/TU833 termination units for field wiring and mounts on S800 backplanes with hot-swap capability.

IP20 protection and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinets, with operation from -25 to +70°C and 5-95% humidity. Comprehensive diagnostics support predictive maintenance in DCS environments like 800xA and Safety Systems.
